Good news NASCAR fans!
Customers who order either a Kevin Harvick or Chase Elliott championship die-cast could be in for a win of their own.
As part of the company’s “Chase the Champs” promotion, Lionel Racing is randomly inserting the championship cars that were signed by the 2014 NASCAR Nationwide and Sprint Cup Series champions during the celebration at Homestead-Miami Speedway into the run of their 1:24-scale Action Racing Collectables championship die-cast.
That means two customers who order a Kevin Harvick NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Budweiser champ die-cast or a Chase Elliott NASCAR Nationwide Series NAPA champ die-cast, could be in for a big surprise.
“This year, for the first time, we pre-made two 2014 championship die-cast so we could have them ready for the Homestead celebration,” said Howard Hitchcock, President of Lionel Racing – The Official Die-Cast of NASCAR.
“Adding these ‘Chase the Champs’ pieces to our production run is a way we can thank our customers and give two NASCAR fans an incredible surprise along with a piece of real racing history.”
Not only are these two “Chase the Champs” cars the die-cast used during the championship celebrations, each one is also autographed by the series champion.
Harvick’s champ car is autographed on the roof. Elliott’s champ die-cast is autographed on the front windshield.
These special “Chase the Champs” cars could potentially be found at your hometown or online dealer, the NASCAR.com Superstore, or www.lionelracing.com.
